The Power Of Being There

Introduction

Coming to you from Javea in Spain. We're just heading out this morning for the first day of the Infusionsoft European partner conference. We're looking forward to meeting more people, and networking. Also, the main point I want to sort of to cover this morning is sort of the power at being at these type of events.

Having the Power At These Event’s

Whilst the events live stream and market information street is doing an awesome job at that today, the power of actually being in the circle, the power of actually going out for lunch with people, meeting, chatting with new ideas, is immense.

It's just something that you can't get on a live stream, or it's just something that you can't get watching the replays. So if you're out there in the business and you already understand the power of networking and collaboration, then get a strategy behind that. Think about what your purpose is.

  • Are you going to show up just to show up?
  • Or have you preselected people you want to network with?

Are you taking a genuine interest in their business, and learning more about that to sort of see what mutual opportunities are going to be available for you to network. We flew out here on Sunday, it's now Tuesday morning. So we've just had just over a day and a half here.

Opportunities

Outside of the existing relationships that we've already developed inside of the community, this one yesterday that we developed that could potentially really be a strong opportunity. Not necessarily directly for us personally as 6teen30 Digital, but how we could use that other partner's expertise to bring them in for our client's benefits where everybody wins.

The clients get a better service, a new service. There's additional revenue for us as 6teen30 Digital, and the other partner is opening up new audiences for that service that we don't supply. So, just to sort of wrap on this site, we're going to keep posting some live feeds and live videos while we're out here, but start looking at your next conference, start looking at your next industry expo, start planning on who you want to meet.

The Power of Being There

Maybe even invite them to go there if they're not already going. Get busy with it, get a strategy behind it, start developing relationships, live, one-on-one. You'll be absolutely amazed at the difference in your business, your status, your success.
